A classmate and I worked as an Innovation Team in applying for a grant for the non-profit organization Hoops House. We started by learning where to find non-profits, foundations, and other organizations that look for ways to make an impact in the community. Then we wrote a grant geared towards addressing Hoops transportation costs, staff pay, and providing technology resources. The result was the submittal of  a grant application on behalf of Executive Director, John Hooper, of Hoops House.
