Me as an Innovator

I went through a fun and exciting degree path called the Bachelor of Innovation (BI) in Business from UCCS. The BI degree is the only one of its kind in the country. I have an emphasis in management, and a minor in communication. The innovation core of my education consists of classes in entrepreneurship, innovation teams, business law & patents, technical writing for grants, and an entrepreneurship capstone course.

 

I am now a graduating with my BI degree and my professional career and personal life are about to take off. I am determined to align myself with a company that is innovative. I welcome the opportunity to learn from experience and grow myself.

 

My future as an innovator has me out on the court executing vision, mission, and goals. Vision provides direction and a destination for a company. I am involved in the creation and understanding of that vision. My job is to always talk about that vision with the people I encounter both inside and outside the company. Anyone who knows me knows exactly where I am headed. My mission is to practice my Bachelor of Innovation (BI) degree to further the success of the company and myself professionally. Furthermore, I set goals and objectives with other innovators for the organization. We then execute three to five goals at a time and make a list of more to add when finished.

 

There are so many great ideas companies want to achieve. I am the person that can be involved with bringing these to fruition. I work on innovation teams and follow a process. This starts by forming a team, agreeing on the work to be done, getting after it in sprints, and reporting. I like to work on Google Docs and Microsoft Teams. I work in person or remotely and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

 

I stay close to my core values of faith, family, communication, a fun culture, passion, determination, and teamwork. Without these present in my life, I would not have been able to get as far as I have gotten. I am an absolute gold mine in everything I have ever done in my life.
